Accommodation at Curio Bay in the Catlins

Why don’t you spend a couple of days discovering this southern paradise and great surfing spot. Take a surfing lesson and enjoy the beach. Join us on a wildlife tour or walk the nearby coastal forests – there’s so much to see and do here. Gypsy Wagon

Fully self contained original gypsy wagon. Located close to the beach, 2 min walk. No seas views but you can hear the waves crashing at night. It has a super king size $3000 bed, luxury sleeping. Linen/towels are supplied. It has a twin hotplate cooker, microwave and all facilities & utensils to cook meals. Fridge, BBQ and private patio for your own use. The toilet shower is located in a separate room 9 meters away from the wagon.

Curio Bay Holiday Houses

All Curio Bay rental holiday houses are fully self contained with blankets, linen, towels & clean up fee included. They are on separate beachfront locations where you can walk onto the beach. All rentals have their own private beach access. Safe for children as no roads to cross to get to the sand. Holiday houses/studios prices start from $150 per night through to $250.

Seaside Cottage: our favorite! Cute 2 bedroom cottage with two queen bed rooms, sleeps 4. Very nice garden with exceptional sea views from lounge and main bedroom. Has new oven, fridge/freezer, beds etc.Bath/shower/toilet. All cooking equipment is supplied. Dining table/chairs. Log burner with firewood supplied. “I really wish this place was mine!” See pictures.

Curio Bay Seaside Accommodation: Very tidy beachfront studio looking directly onto the ocean. Attached to the end of the owners house with a separating wall to give you total privacy. Lie in your new queen size bed and enjoy the views over the bay. Queen sized bed with a king single, sleeps 3 people max. See pictures. Private front area with outdoor seating, separate room kitchenette with all utensils provided including fridge, microwave and hot plates for cooking. Very nice separate bathroom and shower.

Penguin Rest Cottage: Comfortable 2 bedroom beachfront house. Fully self contained with all your living needs. TV/Freeview/DVD, wood burner with wood supplied, clean and tidy, new carpet, good beds, beach access track. Sea views from bedrooms and lounge. Sleeps 5 people max. See listing.
